The big company logos out there have their own history so I thought it would be good to go over just some of the best ones.
The Big Whopper- Burger King
Burger King is of course one of the most famous burger establishments in the world serving millions of people everyday. The original logo came into play in 1969 and featured the company's name in big red letters with two burger buns in between it. The logo which had gone on for thirty years was changed slightly in 1999. The buns have been turned to the sides and there is a blue swirl going around the outside of it.
Pepsi
Well to start off with Pepsi was actually first known as Brad's Drink after the creator Caleb Bradham. He actually made the drink for his drug store customers. The name Pepsi-Cola was used later to define the company. The logo has really changed a lot over the years and tends to follow close competition. Because Pepsi has been around for such a long time there have been many slogans:
Delicious and Healthful 1909-1939
A Day? Have a Pepsi Day 1975-1978
Pepsi Now- 1983
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola has to be one of the most recognised brands in the world and the logo is exactly the same. Many people do not know this but Coca-Cola is the most popular as well as biggest selling soft drink in the world and was created in Atlanta by Dr. John S Pemberton a mouthful I know. It was originally offered as a fountain beverage by mixing the syrup with carbonated water. It is argued that this is still the best way to enjoy Coca-Cola. One of the reasons that the logo was chosen to be red was because the colour red means success.
Custom logo design is very important for a business in the same way that flyer design are.
Logos appear on everything from letterheads to compliment slips so they are very important to a company.
