Ten years ago, stuck in a dead-end job and thinking that this was as good as it was going to get. One day I was speaking to a friend of mine who was doing really well for himself. I went out and purchased myself a laptop and an Internet connection setup at my apartment. I utilized the tools which I learned from my friend and got started. I decided to promote a product that seemed to be high in demand. I setup my website, signed up for an affiliate program, and posted reviews and content about the products I was promoting. When I had a decent amount of content on my website, I started promoting it as much as possible. I was promoting on forums, online groups, news groups, and wrote articles to post to article directories. After a few weeks of promoting every day, I started to get visitors to my website. After a month I had a ton of traffic pouring into my website and had earned my first commission. I was so excited, it was the best feeling I have had in a very long time. A few days later another sale showed up on my affiliate account. Then another and another, before I knew it I had a steady sales every day. It was much, about fifty dollars a day but added to my income at the time it really helped. About a half year later my online business was brining in a few hundred dollars a day, this is when I decided to quit my job and go full time with affiliate marketing. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am currently earning a comfortable income from several websites utilizing the same exact techniques my friend orginally taught me.
